Why subscribe?

Mostly to receive my music reviews. I review albums, concerts, and books related, for the most part, to Americana music. (Please do not ask me to define “Americana music!”)

This is also the place for you if you are interested in what I’m thinking about what’s going on. Wonder what I think about the latest doings in the American Jewish community? Asking yourself “what does Mark think about the 2022 elections?” Curious how I view the goings on in Israel? Interested in what I’m listening to, reading or watching? I plan on sharing all such thoughts in this space. It will be something of a mash-up of the various things that grab my attention.

My goal is to write at least once a week, and never more than three time in a week.

Substack? Don’t those newsletters require a paid subscription?

Not all of them! This one, for example, is free as can be. Free. Free. Free.

It’s possible, depending on things go, that I might add a paid tier down the road. I kinda hope so. But I also kinda doubt it.
